Ruth Kluegel, 79, a former resident of Lamberton, died Thursday April 20, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. Ruth was born April 6,1938 in Mankato, Minnesota to Robert M. and Edna Holmes (Kehner). She attended the Mankato Public Schools and graduated from Mankato High School in 1956. Ruth attended Saint Barnabas School of Nursing and worked as an R.N. at the Springfield Hospital and in the Hopkins Public Schools. She married F. George Kluegel. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and caring for her family.

Ruth is survived by her husband George; her children Miriam Mahoney (Michael) and Thomas Kluegel; her four grandchildren, Kailie Keeling, Thomas James (TJ) Keeling, Jake Mahoney and William Kluegel; her two sisters, Mary Babcock and Georgia Holmes; and her two brothers Gerald Holmes and Thomas Holmes. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents, and two sisters, Margaret Hughes and Caroline Byro.
