Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at First United Methodist Church in Redwood Falls. Burial, with military honors will follow in Morton City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, May 8, from 4 until 7 p.m., at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Tuesday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church.

Jerome “Jerry” Deinken was born Oct. 9, 1931 in Home Township, Brown County.

Jerry is survived by his wife Harriet of Morton; children Richard Deinken of Morton, Jeanne Deinken of Bloomington, Gary Deinken of Washington D.C., and Greg Deinken of Morton; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
