Steven “Steve” Engholm

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel.

A private burial will follow at a later date.

Steve was born Nov. 12, 1954 in Sleepy Eye to Orville and Doris (Schroeder) Engholm. He grew up on a farm near Evan, and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School. Steve has lived and worked in the New Ulm area for many years.

He is survived by his brother Howard (Betty) Engholm and sister Diane Gent of Sleepy Eye; nieces Stacy (Joey) Nelson and Shelly (Cory) Fischer. Steve is preceded in death by his daughter Miranda, his parents and brother-in-law Ron Gent.

Steve will be remembered for his sense of humor, his hearty laugh and as a good friend and caring person.
