Anthony Bushard
FARMINGTON, N.M. – Anthony Leo Bushard, 55, of Farmington, New Mexico, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 in Farmington.
He was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Gaylord to Leo and Myra Bushard.
Tony grew up in Gibbon. He resided in Minnesota, Arizona, Alaska, and New Mexico. He went to Gibbon High School and Hutchinson Vo-tech School.
He was employed by Conoco Phillips as an Inspection Supervisor.
Tony loved to hunt, fish, rebuild antique cars, and motorcycles.
He was happiest going for long rides on his Harleys and spending time with his children.
His co-workers, his biker friends, all the guys at San Juan Auto Body class, friends, and family from Minnesota, Alaska, and New Mexico will miss his quirky sense of humor and contagious smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Bushard.
He is survived by a son, Ethan Bushard; a daughter, Emily Bushard; his mother, Myra Bushard; sisters: Cindy (Florain) Stevens and Vincie (Dwight) Jacobson; nephews: Chris Stevens (Gail), Andy Stevens (Lauren), Rick Stevens, Rob Stevens, Paul Jacobson (Brandy) and Jon Jacobson (Ann), and great-nephews and great-nieces: Nathan and Julie Jacobson, Annabelle and Colby Stevens.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the Courtyard by Marriott, Farmington, NM.
