Jean D. Jackson
WINTHROP – Jean D. Jackson, 90, of Winthrop, died on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop.
Service will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop with interment in the Winthrop Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop.
Jean Delphia (Howatt) Jackson was born on Jan. 4, 1926, in Hanna, Alberta, Canada, to Harvey and Delphia (Steeves) Howatt.
Jean is survived by her children, Linda Wencka of Waller, Texas, Tim McCollum of Alto, Texas, Dale Jackson of Winthrop, Darleen McDurmont of Winthrop, and Mike of Winthrop; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Connett of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada; and brother, Robert Howatt of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
