Valeer Deprez

REDWOOD FALLS – Valeer Deprez, 88, of Redwood Falls died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at Friendship Manor in Shakopee.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Friday, from 9 until 10 a.m., at the church.

Valeer E. Deprez was born April 22, 1928, in Poperinge, Belgium, Marcel and Anna (Dufloo) Deprez.

Valeer is survived by his children Paul Deprez of Westbrook, Linda Klein of Prior Lake, Susan Berscheid of Fergus Falls, Greta Liebl of Shakopee, Rosa Seiffert of Papillion, Neb., Mark Deprez of Glendale, Ariz., Irene Martinez of Fort Worth, Texas, and John Deprez of Lucan; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
