GIBBON – Donald Henry Witt, 85, of Gibbon died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 at the Ridgeway Medical Center in Waconia.
Service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Winthrop, with burial in the Winthrop City Cemetery in Winthrop. Full military honors will be provided by the Winthrop Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church in Winthrop.
Donald is survived by his wife, Ida Bell Witt of Gibbon; daughters, Wanda Fahey of Morgan, Bonnie Lauwagie of Gibbon; grandchildren, Rob Lauwagie of Blaine, Tracy Lauwagie of Fairfax, Stacy Koerner of Franklin, Cody Loverude of Fairfax, Trevor Loverude of Gibbon, Andrew Fahey of Morgan; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Larson of Hawaii.
Donald Henry Witt was born June 26, 1931 in Winthrop to Albert and Ida (Redman) Witt. Full obituary will appear in Friday’s edition of the Journal.
