Fern Forseth
NEW ULM – Fern Ellen Forseth, 83, of New Ulm, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, and 7:30-8 a.m. on Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm. Visitation will continue one hour before the service Thursday at the church.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Splinter of Madelia; son, Brad Forseth of Prior Lake; two granddaughters, Jessica Segal of Farmington, Kimberly Wilfahrt of New Ulm; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Kelly of Burnsville, Margel Woltman of New Ulm; and brother, Paul Jacobson of Mossy Rock, Washington.
Fern Ellen Jacobson was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Butternut Township-Blue Earth County to Carl and Millie (Morrow) Jacobson.
