Linda (Henke) Gould

WINTHROP – Linda (Henke) Gould, age 64, of Winthrop, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Lonsdale, MN.

Memorial Service will be Friday, September 18, at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop with Pastor Bob Miner officiating.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Linda Lou (Henke) Gould was born on March 19, 1951, in Stewart, MN. She was the daughter of Harvey and Lucille (Ellig) Henke.

Linda was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton, MN. She received her education in Stewart and was a graduate of the Stewart High School Class of 1969. Linda furthered her education at the University of Minnesota.

On September 13, 1974, Linda was united in marriage to Ray Gould in Rosemount, MN. After their marriage, the couple resided in New Ulm and the Twin Cities. Linda was employed as a Director of Operations at Apothecary Products in Burnsville. She retired in 2012. Linda and Ray were blessed with two children and they shared 37 years of marriage before Ray passed away on May 25, 2011.

Linda enjoyed traveling, reading, garage saling, and camping. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her sisters.

Linda is survived by her children, Jeremy Gould and his wife, Jaime Haire of Minneapolis, MN, Autumn Brekke and her husband, Chad of Lonsdale, MN, and Ashley Jorschumb and her husband, Ron of New Ulm, MN; grandchildren, Lake Brekke and Ivy Gould; sisters, Lynette Froehlich and her husband, Bruce of Winthrop, MN, and LeAnn Byro and her husband, Randy of Winthrop, MN; sister-in-law, Linda Blumthal of FL; brother-in-law, Dean Gould and his wife, Marla of CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Lucille Henke; husband, Ray Gould; nephew, Kevin Froehlich; and brother-in-law, Rodd Gould.
