Gary Schafer
LAMBERTON – Gary Curtis Schafer, 70, of Lamberton, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Service will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial will be at the Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
Visitation will be 9-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 21 at the funeral home.
Gary Curtis Schafer was born January 12, 1945 in Redwood Falls, to Eli and Pearl (Fischer) Schafer.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by wife Jean; children, Steve Schafer, Dave Schafer, Randy, Tim Schafer, and Kim Tranby; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Kathy Oplinger.
