NEW ULM — Tech Unlimited, a technology services company located at 1326 South Broadway Street in New Ulm, is owned by Chad Aukes and provides computer and smartphone repair, IT support, and remote assistance to residential and business customers in southern Minnesota.

Aukes said he started Tech Unlimited to combine his interest in technology with helping people. “I’ve always wanted to help people and love technology, and that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 10 years,” he said.

The business offers services including smartphone screen and battery repair, computer diagnostics, hardware and software troubleshooting, data recovery, and both on-site and remote IT support. Customers range from individual users to small and medium-sized businesses.

“Customers are number one; without them we wouldn’t have a business,” Aukes said. “Whether it’s answering questions or fixing a problem, we love getting repairs and service done quickly and in a friendly way. We love helping everyone, and someday I would like to partner with some of our community outreach programs to help make a difference.”

The company has plans to expand with interactive projects.

“Although we did want to start axe throwing and smash lab, that had to be put on hold for now, but I still would like to do that in the future,” Aukes said.

Aukes oversees day-to-day operations and said the business prioritizes timely service and accessible support for clients. “We make sure every problem gets addressed and every customer knows we care about their experience,” he said.

He described Tech Unlimited’s approach as hands-on and adaptable.

“Every client is different. We make sure to identify what they need and provide solutions that fit,” Aukes said.

Tech Unlimited has maintained a presence in the New Ulm community through business networks and local partnerships.

“We want to stay connected with the community and make sure our services help local businesses and residents alike,” Aukes said.

The company has invested in equipment and technology to support its services, including diagnostic tools, remote support software, and security systems.

“Our goal is to provide comprehensive tech support in one place,” Aukes said.

While the axe-throwing lanes and smash lab remain in the planning stage, Aukes said the projects aim to diversify the business while keeping its core technology focus.

“These projects are something I’m excited about for the future, but our main focus is making sure our tech services are top-notch right now,” he said.

Tech Unlimited’s customers include individuals and businesses needing personal device repair or IT support.

“We want every client to have fast, reliable solutions and to feel confident coming to us for their tech problems,” Aukes said.
