NEW ULM — Tavern 507, a fresh, new space with a sports bar vibe in the Best Western Plus, continues to expand its menu.

A new menu beginning Feb. 9 includes many pizza offerings with classic crust with cheese, Detroit style crust or gluten-free crust.

Toppings include bacon, black or green olives, Canadian bacon, green onions, grilled chicken, Italian sausage, jalapeno peppers, meatballs, mushrooms, pepperoni, pineapple, red onions, green peppers and tomatoes.

Specialty pizzas include carnivore, Hawaiian, veggie supreme, chicken bacon ranch and chicken pesto alfredo pizza with pesto and mozzarella cheese.

“We added 13 new menu items, making the menu more cohesive with the Marshall Tavern 507,” said New Ulm Tavern 507 General Manager and Best Western Plus Sales and Catering Director Bethany Scott.

The chicken alfredo pizza is the brainchild of Scott’s six-year-old daughter Grace.

Thai peanut sauce with grilled chicken, red pepper, mozzarella and green onions to create Thai peanut chicken is new on the menu.

“Thai peanut sauce is really good. People should come in and try it,” said Scott.

Wings varieties include Carolina reaper peppers with vinegar, garlic and tomato, mango habanero sauce, buffalo wins with cayenne, vinegar and butter, sweet chili, a Korean tradition with lingering heat and a hint of sweetness, sweet and spicy honey BBQ sauce, BBQ with a hint of smokiness, house made sticky Asian sauce topped with sesame seeds, and Thai peanut including herbs, spices and zippy Thai chili peppers, plus honey mustard blend.

Many burgers are available plus brisket, walleye, crispy chicken, Philly steak and turkey sandwiches.

New Tavern 507 furniture has arrived including new booths and tables.

Eighteen beers are on tap including a wide range of craft and domestic beer plus Black Frost drinks.

An outdoor patio with a gas fireplace is operating.

Scott said a new catering menu for conference center clients and off-site events is coming out this spring.

Tavern 507’s one year anniversary promotion will happen in May.

“We’ll be celebrating for a week,” said Scott.
