Patricia C. Tackett, 27, 100 S. Broadway, New Ulm, was charged Friday with misdemeanor domestic assault.
According to a Statement of Probable Cause, New Ulm Police were dispatched to an apartment at 100 S. Broadway at 2:29 a.m., June 1, 2016 regarding complaints of a domestic disturbance. At the scene, police heard yelling coming from a male and female in the residence. Police saw Tackett at the top of the stairs before she quickly ran back into her apartment. Police observed a man with blood smeared across his face and he was holding a napkin against his neck that was covered in blood. He asked officers to come into the apartment, which they did. Observing the injury on the man’s neck, it appeared it was inflicted by a fingernail.
