District Court

Kyle L. Pool, 28, 412 Maple St. S.W., Sleepy Eye, was convicted Monday of gross misdemeanor no insurance. Driving after revocation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia charges were dismissed. He was fined $360 and sentenced to 365 days int he Brown County Jail, 344 days stayed for one year unsupervised probation.

Harry Maddox III, 58, Lino Lakes, currently in state prison on a different file, made his initial court appearance for felony offering forged checks. He was remanded back to prison pending his next court date of 1 p.m., Thursday, May 5.

Daniel Reyes, 47, Gaylord, pleaded guilty to felony domestic assault and gross misdemeanor fifth-degree assault. All other charges were dismissed. He was placed on two years probation to court services. Conditions include completing chemical dependency treatment and any aftercare, undergo domestic abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, have no contact with victim, no use or possession of firearms or ammunition.

Eugenio Castaneda-Garcia, 39, Lafayette, appeared at a Rule 8 Hearing for felony DWI. Bail was reduced by the Court to $500 cash or $5,000 bond. He posted bail and is required to be on electronic home monitoring and have no use or possession of alcohol or drugs.

Armando D. Martinez, 61, Winthrop, appeared at a bail hearing for 4th degree criminal sexual conduct. The Court set bail at $200 cash or $2,000 bond, ordered he have no contact with victim and no use or possession of firearms or ammunition.

Shane S. Otto, 23, Belle Plaine, appeared at a disposition hearing after admitting to violating probation terms for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. His probation was reinstated with the previous terms and conditions plus that he get a chemical use assessment, remain on the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program until he starts assessment recommendations and pay a $1,000 fine.

Dillon J. Smith, 27, Glencoe, had his previous probation terms and conditions reinstated for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance plus that he complete the Adult and Teen Challenge Chemical Dependency Program.

Gary M. Isaacson, 66, Winthrop, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree DWI. Another charge was dismissed. He was ordered to complete 40 hours Community Work Service, undergo a chemical use assessment, follow all recommendations, not use or possess alcohol, attend a Victim Impact Panel, fined $485.

Joshua J. Krueger, 21, Henderson, appeared after he was arrested for violating release conditions. He was ordered to comply with electronic home monitoring.

Marshall S. Berger, 18, Gibbon, made a first appearance for third-degree assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

Brandi L. Moryn, 31, St. Paul, appeared for gross misdemeanor violating a restraining order. He was released on her own recognizance and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

David L. Vazquez, 32, Gaylord, appeared for two counts of third-degree DWI. He was released on his own recognizance.

Eduardo Rangel, 23, Owatonna, appeared after he was arrested for violating probation terms for 2nd degree assault. He was ordered to be held without bail.

Ismael Alvarado III, 24, Glencoe, admitted to violating probation terms. He was ordered to serve 180 days in jail and his previous probation terms were reinstated.

Michael G. Hahn, 33, St. Peter, pleaded guilty to third-degree DWI. He was placed on two years probation to court services, serve two days in the Sibley County Jail, followed by 28 days on electronic home monitoring with an Alco-Sensor, serve 40 hours STS, undergo a chemical use assessment, attend a Victim Impact Panel, fined $585.

Chance A. Gildea, 31, Gaylord, appeared after he was arrested for allegedly violating probation for felony domestic assault. He was ordered to be held without bail.

Jody L. Wickberg, 46, Winthrop, was taken into custody and bail set at $1,000 cash or $10,000 bond for a release condition violation for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree DWI. If she posts bail, she must participate in the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program.

Richard V. Robinson, 34, St. Paul, pleaded guilty to driving after cancellation. Possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and failure to produce proof of insurance were dismissed. Adjudication was stayed and he was placed on two years probation with conditions that he undergo a chemical use assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations, pay $185.

Ruben L. Zamarripa, 25, Gibbon, requested a speedy trial for criminal sexual predatory conduct and 2nd degree assault charges. A trial was set for 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24. A settlement conference was set for 11 a.m., Thursday, May 19. He remains in jail.

Damon J. Muchow, 25, Winthrop, had probation reinstated to previous terms after admitting to violating probation terms for a first-degree burglary charge. He was ordered to serve 30 days in the Sibley County Jail, obtain a chemical use assessment, participate in individual psychotherapy and complete 120 hours of Community Work Service.

Nicholas D. Selle, 30, Gaylord, pleaded guilty to felony domestic assault. The State agreed to a stay of adjudication at sentencing. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered.

April 20, 2016

Daniel D. Gorham, 33, Hutchinson, appeared after he was arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $1,000 cash or $10,000 bond. If he posts bail, he must comply with the Sibley County Color Wheel Drug Testing Program.

David B. Beck, 67, New Ulm, appeared after he was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for a third-degree DWI charge. Bail was set at $500 cash or $10,000 bond.

Kristina K. Gadbaw, 22, Gaylord, appeared after she was arrested on a warrant based on allegations of a probation violation for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and violation of a restraining order. She was ordered held without bail.
