A 2000 Ford Econoline driven by Gordan Orran Batzlaff, 67, New Ulm, stopped to yield to traffic on Broadway when a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Lexi Rebecca Fluegge, 16, New Ulm, rear-ended the Econoline. New Ulm Police • Received a theft report of prescribed medications from an employee at the Brown County Evaluation Center, detox division at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the suspect is a 38-year-old New Ulm man who works at detox. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of prescription drug theft charges. • Police were dispatched to an area between Front Street N. and the Minnesota River at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a disturbance and firearm discharge.
