New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 14 and Garden Street North. A 2004 Volkswagon beetle driven by Anthony Joel Martinez, 21, Springfield, was westbound on Highway 14, when it collided with a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Brenson Scott Juni, 26, New Ulm was was making a westbound turn onto CR 29 from Broadway. Both vehicles had significant damage to the driver’s side front end.

Beverly Jean Luneburg, 71, New Ulm, was driving a 2018 GMC southbound on the 500 block of Payne Street, said she was distracted by a dog jumping out of the vehicle, veered to the right and struck a legally parked, unattended 2025 Nissan.
