The man was transported to Nicollet where a Nicollet County Sheriff’s Deputy picked him up and transported him to jail. • Responded to a theft report at the BP gas station at 10:34 p.m. Thursday. A 15-year-old New Ulm male stole a vape device valued at $19.99. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police • Police were granted a search warrant at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday for a vehicle in the New Ulm impound lot that may have methamphetamine inside. Police found 202 grams of meth in the vehicle traced to a 34-year-old Burnsville man. A report went to the Brown Lyon Renville Drug Task Force.

New Ulm Police • Took a report of individuals in a disturbance behind Riverbend Area Learning Center, 13th St. S. and Minnesota St. at 8:22 p.m. Monday. It was learned a 30-year-old Mahnomen man and an 18-year-old Granite Falls man were planning to meet a 17-year-old girl at this location for a possible sexual encounter. In speaking with other individuals, it was learned when the New Ulm girl was contacted by the two men on Facebook Messenger, she informed a male friend who started to try and set the two men up and contact police.
