Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 near Main Street, Winthrop at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday. A Baja Raptor Z mobility scooter driven by Amy Elizabeth Swanson, 53, Winthrop, and a 2017 Ford Escape driven by Jessica Donelle Hertzog, 33, Janesville, were both eastbound on Highway 19 when they collided. Swanson was transported to New Ulm Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. New Ulm Police • Stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 1:54 a.m. Saturday at Valley St. S. and 2nd St. S. Impairment was detected from the driver, a 32-year-old New Ulm man. He was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of second-degree DWI and open bottle charges. • Took a report at 5:35 a.m. Saturday from a 46-year-old New Ulm woman who said her boyfriend, a 53-year-old New Ulm man assaulted her, Police noticed knee injuries to the woman. New Ulm Police • Received a report at 8:33 a.m. Friday of license plates stolen from a vehicle while parked on the 400 block, Minnesota St. N. on Thursday night. The plates were valued at $89 and entered as stolen. A report was done for documentation.

Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 15 and Brown CR 20, Linden Township at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday. A 2001 Ford F350 driven by a 17-year-old male was westbound on CR 20 when it collided with a 2024 Toyota Sienna driven southbound on Highway 15 by Joel Markham Schultz, 37, Two Harbors. Schultz wore a seat belt but was transported to the hospital for none-life threatening injuries. Five other Toyota passengers and the Ford driver were not injured. Alcohol was not involved.
