Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a two-vehicle injury crash at Highway 14 and Redwood CR 6, Lamberton Township, Redwood County at 2:46 p.m. Monday. A 2010 Buick Enclave was driven southbound on CR 6 by Ricky Melvin Hammerschmidt, 65, Lamberton, when he collided with an eastbound 2000 Peterbilt semi driven by Gary Julian Kuster Beesecker, 33, Houston. Hammerschmidt wore a seat belt but was transported to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No charges were filed. • Responded to a complaint of two neglected cats on the 800 block, Payne St. South at 6:44 p.m. Tuesday. The cats were transported to the city animal pound. Sibley County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a report of a vehicle striking two cyclists on 300th Street, about a quarter mile east of the Rush River Park road, Henderson Township at 10:22 a.m. Saturday. A 2011 Chevy Malibu driven by Mark Deleeuw, 62, rural Henderson was eastbound on 300th Street when it collided with cyclists Rodrigo Zamorano, 57, and Sebastian Zamorano, 23, both of Woodbury.
