New Ulm Police

• Arrested and transported a 41-year-old Hanska man to the Brown County Jail for a probation violation at 11:05 p.m. Thursday. A report was made for documentation and sent to Brown County Probation.

• Received a scam/fraud report at 11:26 a.m. Thursday from a 26-year-old New Ulm man who said he sent provocative photos of himself to an unknown suspect who wanted $500 to not post them on social media. The man did not sent the suspect any money. A report went to police investigators and for documentation.

• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 5 p.m. Wednesday. A 36-year-old Oklahoma City, OK man was transported to detox for a suspected drug-induced condition. No injuries or damage were reported. A report was done for documentation.

• Received an assault report at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday at Riverbend Area Learning Center regarding a 12-year-old male Winthrop student assaulting school staff. Minor injuries were reported. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
