New Ulm Police
• Arrested a 32-year-old Courtland man at Linderhoff Apartments at 11 a.m. Thursday on an Olmsted County warrant. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail before being transported to the Olmsted County.
• A New Ulm resident reported Thursday of writing two personal checks for $8,666.67 each to a life insurance company that were altered and cashed by two individuals they didn’t know at a North Carolina bank. The report was forwarded to investigators.
