New Ulm Police

• Responded to an adult group home at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday. A crystal-like substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine was found and seized in a room. All three residents denied the drugs belonged to them. The meth was offered as evidence. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested a 52-year-old New Ulm man for an equipment violation at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday at German and 19th St. S. Impairment signs were observed on the driver. He failed field sobriety tests, was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A urine test was performed on the suspect. Charges will be considered after urine tests are received.
