New Ulm Police

• Responded to a report of an intoxicated man requesting transportation to detox at 6:10 p.m. Monday. A 56-year-old New Ulm man told police he had a Meeker County warrant. He was transported to detox and placed on hold for Meeker County. A report went to Brown and Meeker County Probation.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway and 16th South St. A 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Allan Irin Christle, 78, St. James, was leaving Kwik Trip, traveled westbound onto 16th South, entered Broadway and collided with a southbound 2007 Pontiac Vibe driven by George Edward Welton, 83, New Ulm. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. A Do Not Enter sign was hit after the crash. Both drivers wore seat belts.
