Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash non-life threatening injuries at 7:44 a.m. Friday in snowy/icy conditions on Highway 14, Courtland Township, Nicollet County. A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Naomi Justice Hatfield, 30, New Ulm, was eastbound on Highway 14 when she collided with a westbound 2024 Subaru Forester driven by Mikayla Mae Peterson, 21, North Mankato. Hatfield, a five-year-old male passenger and passenger James Robert Lane, New Ulm, were transported to Mankato Mayo Hospital. Peterson was not injured. Everyone wore seat belts. Assisting agencies were the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Courtland Fire Department and Allina EMS.

New Ulm Police

• Received a report of a Martin Luther College student’s vehicle rear window smashed in a parking lot at 11:26 a.m. Friday. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. Repair cost was $614. Police have no suspects. A report was done for documentation.
