• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 212 near 2nd Street, Buffalo Lake, Renville County at 6:22 p.m. Friday. A 2024 Peterbilt (semi) tractor driven by John Shedrick Chase, 58, Bird Island, was parked on Highway 212 when a westbound 2013 GMC Terrain driven by Paul David Sauter, 53, Buffalo Lake, collided with the rear of the semi. Sauter was transported to a Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Sauter wore a seat belt and an airbag deployed in his vehicle.
