New Ulm Police
• Stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Broadway and 11th Street North at 10:20 p.m Friday. Impairment signs were noticed from the driver, a 34-year-old New Ulm man. He was arrested and transported to detox. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of second-degree DWI charges.
• Took a report of a 15-year-old New Ulm male and 18-year-old New Ulm female damaging exercise equipment at Emerson Union Apartments at 11 p.m. Friday. A report is under investigation.
• Stopped a vehicle for driving conduct at 4:11 p.m. Sunday at Broadway and Center. Impairment signs were noticed on the driver, a 29-year-old New Ulm man. He was arrested and transported to detox. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of child neglect or endangerment, carrying a weapon without a permit, carrying a weapon while under the influence and second-degree DWI. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Received a suspicious vehicle call at 10:03 p.m. Monday. Officers located the vehicle and talked with the driver, a 39-year-old New Ulm man. He was cited for driving after cancellation. A passenger, a 35-year-old New Ulm man, had a Nicollet County warrant for damage to property and disorderly conduct. The Nicollet County Sheriffs’ Department arrived and arrested the man. Reports went to Brown and Nicollet County Probation.
