New Ulm Police
• Performed a welfare check on an intoxicated 63-year-old New Ulm man at 5:40 pm. Thursday. The man was found to be unable to care for himself. He was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for what appeared to be a head injury. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Received a theft report at 5 a.m. Friday involving an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Franklin Street South. According to video surveillance, it appeared nothing was taken. Police are waiting for video footage they will review. A report was done for documentation.
