New Ulm Police
• Responded to a domestic and break-in call at 110 S. German St. at 12:54 p.m. Saturday. A 40-year-old New Ulm man said his ex-girlfriend, a 35-year-old New Ulm woman broke into his apartment and assault his current girlfriend, a 27-year-old Winthrop woman. The female suspect was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for consideration of 1st-degree burglary and 5th-degree assault charges.
• Stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 12:33 a.m. Sunday at Highland and 5th Ave. N. A 54-year-old New Ulm woman had marijuana in the vehicle and was advised how to legally transport marijuana in a vehicle. A report was done for documentation.
• Stopped a vehicle for driving conduct at 1:09 a.m. Sunday at Broadway and 15th St. N. A 40-year-old New Ulm man had marijuana in the vehicle and was advised how to legally transport it in a vehicle. A report was done for documentation.
• Spoke with a 46-year-old New Ulm man at 2:31 p.m. Monday who said his handgun was stolen from his vehicle. The firearm serial number was entered as a stolen item.
• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 8 a.m. Monday at Center and Garden St. A 2015 Volkswagen Passat driven by Jace Marti, 42, New Ulm, was southbound on Center when it collided with a 2011 Kia Sportage driven by Aidan Wills, 16, New Ulm, who was southbound on Garden St. Damage was severe to both vehicles. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 10:43 a.m. Friday on 411th Avenue, (CR 9) about a half mile south of 190th St. (CR 15) in Green Isle Township. Kaye Nuesse, 87, Arlington, was driving a 2023 Toyota Corolla northbound on 411th Ave., collided with a northbound roadway sweeping machine operated by Gary St. John, 51, Arlington. Nuesse and Jennifer Nuesse, 65, Arlington; and St. John were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed away. Assisting agencies were Green Isle Rescue, Arlington and Allina Ambulance, Afterburner and Maverick Towing.
