New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 5:36 p.m. Saturday at Lambrecht Lane and Summit Ave. Ethan Joseph Eckstein, 19, New Ulm, was legally parked facing southbound on Summit Ave., attempted to merge a 2019 Chevy Trailblazer into traffic and collided with a 2009 motorcycle driven southbound by Jill Rae Tostenrud, 67, New Ulm. The motorcycle overturned to its side. Tostenrud wore a helmet but was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for injury treatment. The motorcycle was towed due to disabling damage. The Chevy had minor damage.
• Arrested a 56-year-old Arlington man on a Brown County Probation violation at Hillside Manor. He was transported to detox. A report went to Brown County Probation.
• Cited a 19-year-old Sleepy Eye male for possessing an electronic vaping device at Riverbend Area Learning Center at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday.
