New Ulm Police
• Responded to a call from a suicidal 14-year-old female at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday. She was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for evaluation. Reports were sent to Brown County Probation, Brown County Human Services and CADA (Committee Against Domestic Abuse).
• Took a report at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday of an elderly man driving on someone’s lawn on the 900 block, North Garden Street. Officers located an 85-year-old New Ulm man who said it was dark and he thought road signs directed him that way. A driver evaluation form was sent to the Minnesota Department of Public Service. A report was done for documentation.
• Stopped a vehicle at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday at 5th Street North and Linden Street driven by a driver known to not possess a valid driver’s license. Officers told a 37-year-old New Ulm woman her driving privileges were revoked. Due to repeat violations of the same offense, she was transported to the Brown County Jail and cited for driving after revocation. Reports went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office and Brown County Probation.
