New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Broadway and 20th South Street at 12:18 p.m. Thursday. A 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis driven southbound on Broadway by Elijah Nashaun Taylor, 19, Hutchinson, made a left turn onto 20th South and collided with a 2021 Chevy Colorado driven northbound on Broadway by Patrick William Guggisberg, 77, New Ulm. Damage was moderate to both vehicles.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash without injuries on Broadway near 13th North Street at 7:38 a.m. Friday. A 2013 Ford F150 driven northbound by Joshua Jeffery Friesner, 36, New Ulm, drifted to the left, hit the curb/center median and a light pole. Vehicle damage was moderate disabling. The light pole was not damaged.

• A 39-year-old New Ulm woman told police Thursday that a 42-year-old Elmwood, Wi. Man whom she has an harassment restraining order against, contacted her on social media. A misdemeanor HRO violation citation was mailed to the man.

• Police checked on a 69-year-old New Ulm man at 5:25 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block, Front St. South. A door was broken to gain access to the man suffering from a medical condition. He was transported to New Ulm Medical Center.

• A 31-year-old New Ulm woman told police at 9:39 a.m. Friday that a homeless 23-year-old man whom she has a domestic abuse no contact order (DANCO) against, put an item on her vehicle. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for a DANCO violation charge and to Brown County Probation.
