New Ulm Police
• A man told police Tuesday afternoon that $2,030 worth of tools were stolen from his unlocked vehicle near Broadway and 10th St. N. sometime around Aug. 2. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a dog bite report at 11:54 a.m. Wednesday where a three-year-old was bitten in the left cheek by a dachshund. Online medical services were received. The dog’s owner, a 34-year-old New Ulm woman said her dog was up to date with vaccinations including rabies. A report was done for documentation.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Executed a narcotics-related search warrant with Winthrop Police at 213 S. Nicollet Street, Winthrop Tuesday, Aug. 19. The warrant was conducted in connection with a Sibley County Attorney’s Office investigation of Michael Lee Doering and his involvement in the possession, use, and trafficking of controlled substances in the Winthrop area. Authorities located and seized about 14.2 grams of methamphetamine. Doering was arrested and charged with third-degree controlled substance possession for having more than 10 grams of methamphetamine.
