New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old St. James woman at Broadway and 3rd St. South at 10:53 p.m. Tuesday. Charges of unsealed marijuana in a motor vehicle and open bottle were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• O’Reilly Auto Parts reported $696.99 worth of parts were charged to what appeared to be a fraudulent account by a 22-year-old Mankato man at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday. The report is under investigation.

• Received a report of two dogs fighting at Front St. and 9th St. South at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday. One dog owner, a 45-year-old New Ulm woman, took her dog to a veterinarian and was charged $1,726.23. The other dog was owned by a 32-year-old New Ulm man. Police learned vaccinations were up to date. The report is under investigation.

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old New Ulm man at 11:39 p.m. Wednesday at Washington St. N. and 2nd St. N. Due to past driving after revocation incidents, he was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail.

• Found an 8-year-old girl walking on N. Broadway by herself at 8:35 a.m. Thursday. Her mother was contacted. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
