• Responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of State Highway 23 and Stearns County Road 33, Paynesville Township at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday. A 2022 Ford Explorer driven by Randall Gene Armbruster, 69, Sleepy Eye, was northbound on CR 33 when he collided with an eastbound 2018 Freightliner semi driven by John Steve Petron, 62, Rice. Armbruster wore a seat belt but was transported to a Paynesville hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Petron was not injured. Alcohol was not involved. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Paynesville Police and Fire Departments and Centra Care Ambulance assisted.
