New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at 1:54 a.m. Saturday at Valley St. S. and 2nd St. S. Impairment was detected from the driver, a 32-year-old New Ulm man. He was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of second-degree DWI and open bottle charges.

• Took a report at 5:35 a.m. Saturday from a 46-year-old New Ulm woman who said her boyfriend, a 53-year-old New Ulm man assaulted her, Police noticed knee injuries to the woman. The man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. He was cited for domestic assault. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Stopped a vehicle for poor driving conduct at 1:16 a.m. Sunday at Highland and 7th St. N. Impairment was detected from the driver, a 33-year-old Courtland man. He was arrested and transported to the New Ulm Medical Center for a blood draw, then taken to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of fourth-degree DWI and open marijuana package.

• Took a report at Hillside Manor at 1:59 p.m. Sunday from a 66-year-old New Ulm man that fell the previous night and needed assistance. Due to the man’s living conditions, a report was sent to Brown County Human Services. The man refused medical attention.

• Took a theft report at Minnesota St. and 7th St. N. at 10:32 p.m. Sunday of a pink bag left outside a residence that was stolen. Inside the bag were beach toys, a life jacket and miscellaneous items with a total value of $210. A report was done for documentation.

• Stopped a vehicle at Center and Franklin St. N. at 2:31 a.m. Monday for a moving violation Sunday. The driver, a 48-year-old Sanborn man, was cited for driving after suspension. A report was done for documentation.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Responded to a verbal disagreement between three individuals on the 100 block 1st Ave. N. at 9:28 p.m. Sunday. A Sleepy Eye man was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Brown County Jail. No injuries or damage reported.
