Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries report at 7:04 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 212 at Bowman Street in Stewart. A 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randal Charles Kalenberg, 70, Stewart, was eastbound on Highway 212 when it collided with a 2020 Toyota RAV4 driven westbound on Highway 212 by John Frederick Hartjes, 79, Springfield. Kalenberg had non-life threatening injuries but was not transported. He did not wear a seat belt and tested positive for alcohol. A passenger in the Toyota, Marleen Tauer Hartjes, 75, Springfield, wore a seat belt but was transported to a Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report of a 20-inch Red Chief lawnmower from Oakwood Estates at 8:02 a.m. Tuesday. Valued at $500, the mower was last seen Monday afternoon. A report was done for documentation.
