Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash at 1:14 p.m. Saturday on 391st Ave., four miles south of Arlington. Ayden Christ, 19, Henderson, was driving a 2011 Subaru Outback northbound on 391st Ave., lost control on a curve, left the road and rolled twice in the southbound ditch. He wore a seat belt but was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. Vehicle damage was heavy. Arlington Fire and Ambulance assisted.
• Responded to a car-deer crash on Highway 19 just east of Winthrop at 10:07 p.m. May 29. Samantha Leighton, 24, was driving westbound on Highway 19, hit a deer and airbags deployed. She was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. Gaylord Police, Winthrop Fire and Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted.
New Ulm Police
• Viewed Walmart surveillance footage posted on Facebook at 7:56 p.m. Sunday and charged a 26-year-old Lake Crystal man with theft for concealing and walking out of the store with $735 worth of merchandise May 23 and $487 worth of merchandise May 27.
• Noticed impairment signs from a 42-year-old Elysian man at 6:14 p.m. Sunday near CR 25 and 150th Avenue several miles south of New Ulm. Charges including felony first-degree DWI with prior convictions, no insurance, driving after revocation, unlawful use of license plates, expired registration and failure to transfer title. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Omaha, Neb. Man near Highway 14/15 at 11:43 p.m. Friday. The man was arrested for underage drinking and driving and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Arrested a 45-year-old New Ulm woman for test refusal and a limited license violation at 2:19 a.m. Sunday after she was found passed out in a Kwik Trip South restroom. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
