New Ulm Police

• Were notified at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday that a Brown County Evaluation Center patient had an apprehension and detention order for their arrest out of Brown County. Officers transported a 67-year-old Springfield man to the Brown County Jail. A report went to Brown County Probation.

• Spoke with a 15-year-old New Ulm female who said she and her mother, a 37-year-old New Ulm woman got into a physical argument about the daughter’s wardrobe choice around adults at 10:05 p.m. Monday. The girl said her mother whipped her with a cell phone charging cord. The mother told police her daughter was accurate about what caused the argument. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
