Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 5 at 411th Avenue, Arlington Township, Sibley County at 6:08 p.m. Thursday. Emma Marie Riebel, 21, Mankato, was driving a 2008 Toyota Corolla southbound on 411th Ave. when it collided with a 2007 Kia Sedona driven westbound on Highway 5 by Steven Lester Langhoff, 74, Lafayette. Riebel was transported to an Arlington hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the Kia, Mary Alice Phillips, 73, Lafayette, had non-life threatening injuries but was not transported. Langhoff was not injured. Everyone wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Arlington Police, Fire and Ambulance and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a call at 4:23 a.m. Friday on 2nd St. West in Cobden. A fishing house is the subject of a suspected arson case. Damage was estimated at $5,000. A report went to investigators.
New Ulm Police
• A disturbance was reported at 12:04 a.m. Friday at B and J Laundromat, 506 Center. A 43-year-old New Ulm woman was issued a no trespass order after acting erratically. No damage or injuries reported. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
