Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to an animal complaint in Cottonwood Township at 10:24 a.m. Thursday. A 57-year-old Good Thunder man was bitten by a four-year-old labradoodle with current rabies shots. The man sought medical attention. A report was done for documentation.
New Ulm Police
• Responded to a disturbance call on the 800 block, N. Broadway at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday. A 58-year-old homeless man accused a 67-year-old New Ulm man of taking some of his property while the homeless man stayed at the residence. The homeowner denied taking the homeless man’s property and said the homeless man kicked in his garage service door and his pickup truck. Damage was estimated at $1,000. A report for tampering with a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Arrested a 35-year-old homeless woman who was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at 125 S. Broadway at 7:12 p.m. Wednesday. The woman was transported to the Brown County Jail on a DWI charge, then taken to detox.
• Responded to a verbal domestic call on Jonathon Dr. at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday involving a 44-year-old New Ulm woman and 48-year-old New Ulm man. Nobody was arrested. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
