Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 2:18 p.m. Saturday on Highway 71, Charlestown Township, Redwood County. Kerry Lynn Kummrow, 57, Willmar, was driving a 2008 Honda Goldwing northbound on Highway 71, lost control and crashed. He and a passenger, Mischelle Rene Kummrow, 58, Willmar, did not wear helmets and were transported to Redwood Falls Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. Assisting were the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Sanborn First Responders and Fire Dept., Springfield and CentraCare Ambulance.

New Ulm Police

• Received a call of a vehicle hitting curbs at Broadway and 16th St. N. at 6:08 p.m. Friday. Officers located the suspect vehicle and talked with the driver, a 77-year-old New Ulm man who appeared to be suffering from a medical condition. An ambulance was sent to the crash location. A request for driver examination was sent to the Dept. of Public Safety Driver’s Evaluation Unit.

• Took a report of a stolen 2010 Black Iron Works trailer with chrome plating in the front from a business on the 1800 block of Spring St. N. at 6:35 p.m. Friday. Officers checked area business surveillance footage. The trailer was entered as stolen on the computerized index of criminal justice information (NCIC) system.

• Stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity at 1:34 a.m. Sunday at Minnesota St. and 3rd St. N. Impairment signs were detected on the driver, a 17-year-old New Ulm male. A report for underage drinking and driving was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Three violations of an harassment restraining order were reported Monday by a 36-year-old New Ulm man against a 47-year-old Norwood-Young America man for sending text messages and emails to a woman. An active attempt to locate the man is out. His current whereabouts are unknown. Reports went to the Brown, Nicollet and Carver County Probation, New Ulm City and Brown County Attorney offices.

• Responded to a criminal damage to property complaint on 11th St. N. at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday. A landlord said a previous tenant broke a garden shed door handle. Damage was estimated at $40. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested and transported a 44-year-old New Ulm man to the Brown County Jail on a Redwood County warrant on the 1700 block of State St. S. at 12:27 p.m. Tuesday. A report was sent to Redwood County Probation.

• Received a report of old furniture dumped on the 100 block of Minnesota St. S. at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a physical domestic report involving a New Ulm couple at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block Franklin St. S. No arrests were made. No medical attention was sought. A report was sent to New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
