Sheriff’s Office
• Received a domestic call at 404 Broadway, Hanska at 4:32 a.m. Saturday. A 21-year-old Madelia woman and 29-year-old St. James man were arrested. The woman said the man was yelling and violent. She did not seek medical attention. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
New Ulm Police
• Received a call at 8:37 p.m. Friday from a 44-year-old Mankato man who wanted it documented the mother of his children, a 55-year-old New Ulm woman, did not turn over their children to him when she was supposed to. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Tried to speak with a 56-year-old New Ulm woman at 12:48 p.m. Saturday after neighbors said he was pounding on walls at Broadway Haus, 300 N. Broadway. It was the 12th time police were called about this since April 1. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Responded to Riverbend Area Learning Center at Monday afternoon for a 15-year-old student threatening a teacher. The boy’s mother arrived to take him home. A report went to Brown County Human Services.
• Met with a Walmart Asset Protection Team member at 2:21 p.m. Monday regarding a former employee, a 69-year-old Winthrop man who committed eight theft acts from April 23 to May 10. Total value of the thefts were $315.45.
• Stopped a vehicle for speeding Monday. The driver, a 21-year-old New Ulm woman, showed impairment signs and was arrested for DWI and transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center. A report went to the city attorney’s office for DWI, open bottle and speeding charges.

State Patrol
• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 1:49 a.m. Sunday on Highway 4, Martinsburg Township, Renville County. Taylor John Bolinger, 32, Sleepy Eye, was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson Cruiser southbound, swerved to miss a deer and entered a ditch. He was transported to an Olivia hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He did not wear a helmet. Alcohol was involved. Hector police, ambulance and the Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 9:07 a.m. Monday on Highway 68, New Avon Township, Redwood County. A 2019 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Alonna Rose Baune, 31, Wabasso, was eastbound on Highway 68, behind a 2001 Cadillac Escalade driven by Diane Lois Arends, 61, Wabasso, when the vehicles collided. Baune and a passenger in the Baune vehicle, Zahrinty Rose Burke, 3, Wabasso were transported to Redwood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Arends was not injured but did not wear a seat belt. Airbags deployed. Alcohol was not involved.
Wabasso fire, ambulance and CentraCare Ambulance assisted.
Sibley County
Sheriffs’ Office
• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 2:40 p.m. Saturday on Scenic Byway, near Cr 119. Brandon Seth, 39, Henderson, was traveling southbound on Scenic Byway when he drove off the road. After Burner Towing of Arlington removed a his truck from the ditch. No injuries were reported.
