Redwood County Sheriff’s Office
• Attempted to stop a vehicle at 10:42 a.m. Friday near 300th Street and Kenwood Avenue, northeast of Wabasso, when the suspect vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and led officers on a 10-mile pursuit before the driver was taken into custody. The Minnesota State Patrol and Wabasso Ambulance assisted. Charges are pending incident investigation.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Responded to a crash report at 10:40 a.mn. Friday near Linden St. S.E. and 5th Avenue S.E. A 12-year-old child walked out of an alley and collided with a vehicle driven southbound by a 49-year-old Sleepy Eye woman. The juvenile had non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Sleepy Eye Ambulance to Sleepy Eye Medical Center. A report was done for documentation.
New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 10:22 a.m. Friday at 17th North Street and Franklin. Audrey Falk, 18, New Ulm, was driving a 2001 Honda CRV westbound on 17th North when it collided with a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by Gordon Palmer, 90, New Ulm. Police said the the Honda had yield signs at the intersection. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to the rear passenger side of the Honda and moderate disabling to the front passenger side of the Explorer.
