New Ulm Police

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash without reported injuries at Broadway and 16th South Street at 11:47 p.m. Feb. 9. Dale Robert Aufderheide, 72, New Ulm, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, trying to turn northbound on Broadway from the 600 block of 16th South Street, left the road, hit a fire hydrant at 16th South and Broadway, and left the scene. There was damage to the passenger side and bumper-tire area of truck. The fire hydrant was damaged.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash reported at 7:27 a.m. Feb. 12 on TH 30 at 640th Ave. Adrian Township, Watonwan County. Shawn Clifford Deslauriers, 49, Currie, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on TH 30 when it left the road and entered a ditch. He wore a seat belt, had non-life threatening injuries and was not transported to a health care facility. Alcohol was not involved. Assisting agencies were the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, St. James Medical Services, Darfur Fire Dept. and Mountain Lake Police.
