Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in snow and ice conditions at the Highway 15 Minnesota River bridge, New Ulm, Brown County at 9:04 p.m. Oct. 28. Dale Lee Loudermilk, 47, Cottage Grove, was driving a 2004 Dodge Dakota southbound on Highway 15 when he collided with a northbound 2002 Fort F150 driven by Casey Linus Koop, 16, New Ulm. Loudermilk was transported to New Ulm Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Koop and a passenger, MacKenzie Jo Enter, 16, New Ulm, had non-life threatening injuries but were not transported to a hospital. Another passenger in the Koop vehicle, Carter MacGregor Holmquist, 21, Gibbon, was not injured. Everyone wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Airbags deployed in both vehicles. New Ulm Police, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, New Ulm Fire Dept. and Allina Ambulance assisted.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with injuries on Highway 60, Mountain Lake Township, Cottonwood County at 7:32 pm. Oct. 28. Martha Laura Vidal, 59, was driving a 2007 Toyota Tacoma eastbound on Highway 60, left the road, hit a guard rail and rolled on snow and ice. Vidal and a passenger, Antelmo Santibanez, 58, St. James, were transported to Windom Area Health with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. Mountain Lake Police and Fire Departments and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a 31-year-old New Ulm woman for a traffic violation at at 7th Street North and Broadway at 1:38 a.m. Oct. 28. Police noticed impairment signs, arrested the woman for 3rd-degree DWI and transported her to the Brown County Jail. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Stopped a 28-year-old Fairfax woman for an equipment violation at Broadway and 16th Street North at 12:43 a.m. Oct. 29. Police noticed impairment signs, arrested the woman for 3rd-degree DWI and transported her to the Brown County Evaluation Center. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Talked with a 32-year-old New Ulm woman at 2:28 p.m. Oct. 29 who said she receives calls from a man who only breathes on the phone and hangs up if her husband answers. The woman thinks the caller is a 36-year-old from Norase, N.D. Police will contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in Fargo.

• Arrested a 24-year-old New Ulm man on a Brown County Probation Apprehension and Detention Order at 1513 N. Payne at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 30. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail. Reports were sent to Brown County Probation and Brown County Human Services.
