New Ulm Police

• Received a juvenile trouble report at 3:08 a.m. Aug. 11 at the Brown County Fair. An 18-year-old and 19-year-old New Ulm male were cited for underage alcohol consumption. A report was sent to investigators.

• Received a phone scam report from a 67-year-old New Ulm man at Broadway Haus, 300 N. Broadway at 3:33 a.m. Aug. 11. The man said he was asked for ransom money for a family member that was kidnapped. A report was done for documentation.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a call at 2:16 p.m. Aug. 11 from a person concerned about a child believed to need more supervision on Greenback St. N.W. Police talked with the child’s parents and sent a report to Brown County Human Services.
