New Ulm Police

• K9 officer “Hank” was requested at 9:09 p.m. July 29 by the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office to assist for a search for a 28-year-old Chaska man who fled from Belle Plaine Police in a motor vehicle. The suspect was found near a drainage ditch and arrested. A report was sent to Belle Plaine Police

• Officers were dispatched to a vehicle in a road construction area near 9th North and Minnesota at 10:13 p.m. July 29. Police found a 45-year-old New Ulm woman that appeared to be intoxicated. She failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI and transported to the Brown County Jail. Reports were sent to Brown County Probation and the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Arrested and transported to jail a 55-year-old New Ulm man on a Hennepin County arrest warrant after stopping him for an equipment violation at 1:23 a.m. Aug. 1 at 7th North and German St. The suspect had a revoked driver’s license.

• Responded to a verbal domestic all on 210th Avenue, Milford Township at 6:25 p.m. July 31. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident involving a 17-year-old male and 50-year-old man.
