Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a verbal domestic involving a 14-year-old girl and her 39-year-old mother on the 15000 block of Oakwood Heights, Cottonwood Township at 8:37 p.m. May 16.

• Recovered an unoccupied, black 2010 black Ford Fusion at 1:05 a.m. May 17 at Knudsen St. and North St. Evan. The car was reported stolen in Redwood Falls. A report was sent to Redwood Falls Police.

• Received information at 1:12 p.m. May 17 on an attempted break-in on the 19000 block, Lake Hanska Township. No access was gained. A report was done for documentation.

• Received information at 1:31 p.m. May 17 of an abandoned Lund boat found on the 13000 block of 400th Avenue, Bashaw Township. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police

• Arrested a 37-year-old New Ulm woman for an apprehension and detention order from Brown County Probation at 12:44 p.m. May 17. The woman was transported to the Brown County Jail.

• Responded to the post office at 2:18 p.m. May 17 for a 77-year-old New Ulm man who appeared to be confused. He was seen by Allina Ambulance staff and transported to New Ulm Medical Center. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a 47-year-old New Ulm man displaying boisterous behavior and talking about harming himself on the 200 block of Minnesota St. N. at 2:35 p.m. May 17. The man was transported to New Ulm Medical Center. A report for consideration of disorderly conduct, domestic assault, 5th-degree controlled substance and dangerous weapon possession charges was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Talked to a 79-year-old New Ulm man about physical harm threats from an 80-year-old New Ulm man at 7:22 p.m. May 17. The 79-year-old man as advised to seek an harassment restraining order. A report was sent to investigators.

• Assisted Brown County Correctional Officers with a 20-year-old Rochester male jail inmate that included a suicide attempt at 12:50 a.m. May 18. The male was transported to New Ulm Medical Center, then returned to jail.
