New Ulm Police

• Received a three vehicle crash report without injuries on snowy, icy conditions at 4:07 p.m. Dec. 1 at N. Highland and Boettger Rd. Jose L. Trevino, 20, New Ulm, was driving a Ford Flex northbound on Highland when he was rear-ended by a northbound 2017 Honda Civic driven by Haylee M. Loncorich, 26, New Ulm. The Civic went into the southbound land and crashed into a GMC Yukon driven by Sara E. Gostonczik, 39, New Ulm, who was southbound on Highland. Damage was major to the Honda, moderate to severe to the Yukon driver’s side and moderate to the rear of the Ford. All three drivers wore seatbelts.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries on snow-covered roads at 16th Street and N. Washington St. at 5:17 p.m. Dec. 1, 2022. Alan Nachreiner, 61, New Ulm, was driving a 2016 Buick Encore eastbound on 16th North St., tried to turn north on Washington St., turned in front of a 2021 Chevy Silverado driven by Alexa Barstad, 17, New Ulm, who was westbound on 16th North St. Damage was disabling to the front right of the Chevy and Buick. Both drivers wore seatbelts.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report with possible injuries on ice and snow-covered roads at 1st St. S. and Jefferson St. at 5:25 p.m. Dec. 1. Natalie K. Helget, 40, New Ulm, was driving a 2015 Buick Encore northbound on Jefferson St. when he collided with a 2010 Toyota Camry driven by Patrick M. Bakken, 27, New Ulm. Bakken was eastbound on 1st S., said he did not see the Buick initially, tried to swerve left but could not due to slippery roads. Damage was slight to moderate to both vehicles. Both drivers wore seatbelts. Helget said she had some neck soreness, declined an ambulance but was told to have it checked at the hospital.
