•State Patrol responded a roll over accident at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 14 at 280th Avenue in the Prairieville Township.
James Edwin Schmaedeke, 71, of Brookings, South Dakota, was driving eastbound on Highway 14 in a Ford 500. Schmaedeke lost control and rolled the vehicle, stopping in the ditch. He sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to New Ulm Medical Center.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on State Highway 5 at 401st Avenue, Arlington, Sibley County at 5:03 p.m. Nov. 18. Dennis A. Kittock, 86, Arlington, was driving a 2019 Honda CRV westbound on Highway 5, turned left to go southbound on CR 17 and collided with a 2015 Toyota Corolla driven by Patience N. Harmon, 29, Arlington who was eastbound on Highway 5. The drivers and passengers Helen M. Kittock, 85, Arlington; and Irina T. Ware, 9, Arlington, were transported to an Arlington hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Everyone wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Arlington Fire, Police and Ambulance, Ridgeview Ambulance and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
